Special Collection for Nigeria

On the weekend of August 6 & 7, Fr. Mike Ohanete will be speaking briefly at all the masses on the current happenings in Nigeria. The Christians there — and especially the Catholic Church — are presently going through untold hardship and persecution at the hands of the Fulani Muslims. The kidnapping for ransom and murder of priests have become an almost daily occurrence. They request prayers and support in any way possible. As such, a second collection will be taken up.
