Lector & Eucharistic Minister Training

St. Rita will hold a training session for prospective Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers on Monday, August 12, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the church. If you have ever considered proclaiming the Word of God or distributing Holy Communion, we would love to see you there. 

The first 45 minutes of the class will be dedicated to lector training.  Following a short break, we will move on to Eucharistic minister training. If you only wish to be a lector, please come a few minutes early, and you will be finished before 8 p.m. If you only wish to be a Eucharistic minister, plan to come at 7:45 p.m. to sign-in during the break.  We will conclude by about 8:45 p.m.. If you want to be trained for both ministries on the same evening, you are welcome to do so.

We will meet in the church for training.  To be a Eucharistic minister, you need to have received your sacraments of initiation (Baptism and Confirmation). To RSVP, please call the Parish Office at (626) 355-1292 or email David Muhs at [email protected].
